Lesson 10: Projects

When I was very active in the student council, we used to keep track of all news articles about students and the tuition fees, to do that we used google alerts and google RSS.
That way when news that was relevant to us, we would get an email with the articles and could jump on the bandwagon.
Hootsuite was where we planned out our facebook and twitter updates about the manifestation, but in the days before the manifestation we had somebody tracking the socials during the night as well. Because manifestations are a sensitive subject that is why someone had to track reactions and retweets etc.
